This week's content comes from the chapter on "Marriage".
"Getting married is probably the biggest thing you will ever do in your life. You will meet someone you love and want to spend the rest of your life with them. The two of you really become one in many ways. You will share all of your belongings, your income, your emotions, your joys, your fears and your dreams and become one person. Not physically, but you really do both start picking up characteristics of the other person and acting as one.
The center of a good marriage is love and respect for one and other. There will be a lot of joy and fun times you will share together, but there will also be times of sorrow and hardship for you to share as well. The important thing is to be understanding of each other, listen to each other, and try to make each other happy. Be there for each other. You can still do things independently and have your own interests, but it is also good to share common interests and activities.
When you meet someone you love, even though you will want to live with them and move in with them, I highly recommend you wait to do that until after you are married - we did. If you move in with someone before you are married, getting married will not be as big an event, because you are already living together.
Be patient about finding your right partner for marriage. You will likely fall in love many times before finding the right person to marry. That person should not only be someone you love, but someone you can see yourself spending the rest of your life with. Someone who is a friend and partner. Someone who makes you laugh and makes you happy. Someone you can share your deepest thoughts with. Someone who will listen. Someone who will care. "

Book2MyKids "Content of the Week"
This week's content comes from the Chapter on "Money"
"Unfortunately money is somewhat important. You need to earn enough money to live the life you want to live. Life often requires balance between competing priorities. I am not trying to discourage you from pursuing your dreams, just balance your dreams with other things that are important to you.
Live within your means! I can't emphasize this enough! This means spending less than you make. Save money for a rainy day or tough times. When you don't have enough money and you have too much debt, the stress it can cause in your life is overwhelming. You will enjoy things you purchase much more if you wait until you can afford them.
Be content with what you have, while you strive to do better. This may sound contradictory, but what I mean by this is to enjoy the things you have while striving to enrich your life. For example, if you live in a modest apartment but really want to buy a condo, enjoy the apartment while you live there, but continue to save enough money to buy the condo. When you finally can afford to buy the condo, appreciate it and take care of it, even if you ultimately want to buy a house.
You will find life is much more enjoyable if you appreciate what you have even while you strive to do better. Do not covet what your neighbor has or you may no longer appreciate what you have. "You shall not covet your neighbor's house." Exodus 20:17. "
